October Meeting Minutes

October 1, 2015 Regular Meeting Minutes

Called to order at 7:04 by Meredith. 

Attendees: Meredith Akin, Maile Hurst , DiDi Orr, Dawn Radilla, Kyra Smay, and Sam Bonser.

Heidi was excused for a family birthday.

Minutes for September were read by DiDi. Maile approved, Meredith seconded.

Treasurer’s Report was given by Maile.  DiDi approved, Meredith seconded.

Carnival meeting report – Meredith gave information about where plans currently stand.  Lindsay Stephens is Games Coordinator, Chrissy Sullivan is Donation Coordinator.  Still in need of Food Coordinator as Aimee Ford had to step down.

PTC Meals – Maile and Sam to head.  Sign-ups provided by Heidi and via Volunteer Spot.  Plans to consolidate all paper products and provide only what is needed for food given at that time. 

Bylaws – DiDi presented updated By-Laws and submits them for their 30 days’ notice.  Member At Large position opened for name submission pending By-Laws vote at next regular meeting. 

Round Table –

• Parent Work Night at PS on 10/8 from 5:30-7.  We may have items to be worked on for Carnival as well that night. 
• SMART program beginning for Kindergarten information shared

 Tabled Items –

• Community Dance
• After School Art Program
• NMP to possibly run Online portion of NM Auction
• NMP Scholarship changes

 Next meeting scheduled for November 5, 2015 – 7pm in MS library.
